The SD25 proprietary design connects seamlessly with YANMAR engine’s smaller dedicated marine-built housings. This direct connection not only contributes to the compact size of the propulsion system but also reduces the need for adapters or couplings, resulting in a smaller rotational mass and therefore reduced vibration. This purpose-built and complementary propulsion system maximizes the already efficient sail drive performance.
